My name is Xavier Brucart, and I am a dedicated language professional with a passion for communication and cultural exchange.
I hold a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting (EMCI) from the prestigious University of La Laguna (2017) and a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2015). These academic achievements laid the foundation for my career, equipping me with advanced skills in translation, interpreting, and multilingual communication.
As a translator and interpreter, I have collaborated with prominent clients such as Iberia, the World Health Organization (WHO), GSK, and Veolia. These experiences have strengthened my expertise in sectors ranging from aviation to healthcare and environmental services, enabling me to deliver precise and culturally sensitive language solutions.
My professional journey has been enriched by another passion of mine: language pedagogy. I have been an Assistant English Professor at the University of Barcelona’s Faculty of Education, where I honed my pedagogical skills and contributed to the linguistic development of future educators. Beyond academia, I have taught English in diverse settings, including a primary school in Paris (Ensemble Scolaire Saint-Jéanne Elisabeth) and specialized training courses for cabin crew at the School of Aeronautical Studies in Barcelona, as well as private language classes (Catalan, Spanish, English and French) tailored to the needs of my students. Moreover, I have volunteered as a language teacher in children’s programs in Cambodia and Morocco.
Having lived in five different countries—Ireland, the USA, France, Egypt, and my home country, Spain—I bring a multicultural perspective to my work. This international exposure has also allowed me to master six languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, and Arabic. My linguistic skills and cultural awareness ensure effective communication across diverse audiences and contexts.
